Health Department Offers Free Quit Smoking Classes
GREENSBORO — The Guilford County Department of Public Health is offering a series of free classes to help smokers kick the habit.
The four-week session of classes begins next week and is open to Guilford County residents.
Class size is limited to 12 participants.
The program is funded by the Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
Health officials said tobacco is the number one preventable cause of death in North Carolina.
