“Our hospital is concerned about the health and well-being of everyone who visits and is employed on our campus,” says Wesley CEO Ron Seal. “We are committed to providing a healthy environment, and this policy puts us one step closer to realizing our full potential.”
The use of tobacco products of any kind will no longer be allowed on any hospital property. This policy will apply to employees, medical staff, patients and visitors.
This new policy will be implemented at the hospital’s primary Hardy Street campus, as well as at each of their off-site clinics located throughout the community.
Patients, visitors and staff are asked to refrain from the use of all tobacco products while at any Wesley Medical Center facility beginning Sept. 1.
